JIM MAZUR SENTENCED FOR CHILD MOLESTATION

Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that Jim Mazur of Blair, Nebraska was sentenced Thursday to five (5) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for child molestation in the 1st degree. This sentence arises from a Feburary 2005 incident where Jim Mazur subjected a seven year old girl to sexual contact. With the sentence, Jim Mazur will have to register as a sex offender upon his release.
