Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that CHRISTOPHER MACE, dob: 12/22/1985, of Branson, Missouri entered a guilty plea in five (5) separate felony cases on Wednesday, May 14, 2008, in front of Taney County Circuit Judge Mark Orr. Mace plead guilty to three (3) class B felonies of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and received a sentence of eleven (11) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on each count. Mace also plead guilty to the class C felony of assault in the second degree and the felony of armed criminal action and received seven (7) years on the assault charge and three (3) years on the armed criminal action charge. Additionally, Mace plead guilty to the class C felony of domestic assault in the second degree and received a sentence of seven (7) years. Mace wrapped up the day by pleading guilty to the class D felony of unlawful use of a weapon and received a sentence of four (4) years. Probation was denied in all cases and sentences will run concurrently to each other.
