Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announces that GREGORY L. HUNN, dob:10/17/1963, of Taney County, Missouri, plead guilty last Thursday in front of Judge Mark Orr to the felonies of failure to file a sales tax return and failure to pay sales tax. Mr. Hunn, owner of Evergreen Landscape, was formally charged with these felonies on November 30, 2007, following an investigation by the Missouri Department of Revenue.

Following Mr. Hunn’s guilty plea, Judge Orr sentenced Mr. Hunn to a suspended imposition of sentence and five (5) years of probation on both felony counts. Mr. Hunn will also be required to complete 100 hours of community service in Taney County as well as pay $19,020.20 in restitution to the Missouri Department of Revenue during his period of probation.
