Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that JEFFREY B. UNSELL, DOB: 2/28/1973 of Rockaway Beach, Missouri received the maximum sentence of four (4) years after an open plea for the class D felony of property damage in the first degree from Taney County Circuit Judge Mark Orr. Probation was denied.

On November 17, 2008 officers were dispatched to Branson Plaza Motel in response to a strange man damaging property in a hotel room. At the location officers learned that the defendant, JEFFREY B. UNSELL had broken into a hotel room of his girlfriend where he had cut up and shredded her clothes and damaged the walls and furniture with red finger nail polish and lipstick as a form of domestic abuse and intimidation.
