RICKY RAY BARNES RECEIVES SEVENTEEN YEAR SENTENCE

Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that RICKY RAY BARNES, dob: 12/31/1975 of Kimberling City, Missouri was sentenced last Thursday to seventeen years (17) in the Missouri Department of Corrections by Taney County Circuit Judge Mark Orr for the class A felony of Assault in the 1st Degree, ten (10) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the class B felony of burglary in the first degree, and three (3) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the class D felony of resisting arrest. Probation was denied and all sentences are to run concurrent.
