Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that RUBEN L. BOLES dob: 8/16/1988 of Hollister, Missouri plead guilty and was sentenced by Taney County Circuit Judge Mark Orr to five (5) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance. Probation was denied.

On March 17th, 2010, members of the Taney county Sheriff’s Department and the C.O.M.E.T. Drug Task Force served a drug search warrant at 175 Calvin Circle in Hollister, Missouri. Upon entry of the residence, officers observed the defendant, RUBEN BOLES attempting to flush suspected methamphetamine and pills down the sink in the bathroom. Officers also recovered baggies, digital scales and other paraphenalia from the residence including a .22 caliber handgun and ammunition.
