Michael W. Hall (d.o.b. 3-19-1986), of Pittsburg, Kansas, was sentenced on Thursday, November 10, 2011, to seven (7) years in prison for the class C felony of possession of methamphetamine and the class C felony of stealing. Taney County Circuit Court Judge Mark Orr sentenced Hall for the felony offenses, to be served concurrently, pursuant to a plea agreement.

Charges stemmed from an arrest at Wal-Mart Supercenter on April 27, 2010, at which time Hall was detained by security for suspicion of shoplifting. Once being placed under arrest and in handcuffs, Hall was discovered to have a glass pipe and four (4) small baggies of a white substance that later tested positive for being methamphetamine. During the course of the Branson Police investigation, it was discovered that Hall matched the description of a suspect who had stolen a large, flat-screen television from the rear fire exit the night before. On June 2, 2011, Hall appeared before Circuit Court Judge Mark Orr and entered pleas of guilty to class C felony possession of controlled substance and class C felony stealing.
