On Thursday, February 7, 2013, Taney County Circuit Court Judge Mark Orr sentenced PATRICK B. HAUBBERT, (d/o/b 03-26-1975) of Republic, Missouri, to eight (8) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for robbery in the second degree. The sentence was the result of a bench trial held before Judge Orr on November 30, 2012, after which Haubbert was found guilty of assaulting Wal-Mart employees while trying to leave the store with a stolen digital compass. The robbery occurred at the Wal-Mart on Branson Hills Parkway on January 13, 2012 – just about four (4) months after he was paroled from prison for an earlier robbery offense.
