BRENDA LAMB SENTENCED TO ADDITIONAL PRISON TERM FOR ASSAULT

April 19, 2013

On Thursday, April 18, 2013, Brenda Lamb, d/o/b 2-10-1968, appeared in the Circuit Court of Taney County and entered guilty pleas to two (2) felony charges: assault in the second degree and resisting arrest. Circuit Court Judge Mark Orr sentenced Lamb to five (5) years in prison for assault in the second degree and four (4) years in prison for resisting arrest. The sentences are to be concurrent to each other, and to Lamb’s other prison sentences, pursuant to a plea agreement with the Taney County Prosecutor’s Office.

Lamb admitted to having strangled another woman at the Hillbilly Inn, in Branson, on September 21, 2011. When Branson Police Officers arrived to investigate, Lamb fought with the officers, which resulted in the additional resisting arrest felony charge.

Lamb was just recently sentenced to a prison term following her conviction in a jury trial for assaultive behaviors toward Hollister Police Officers.
