TYLER LASMANIS, d/o/b 2-19-1986, formerly of Walnut Shade, Missouri, pleaded guilty on Thursday, December 15, 2016, in the Circuit Court of Taney County, to two (2) counts of statutory rape in the first degree. Associate Circuit Court Judge Tony Williams sentenced Lasmanis to ten (10) years in prison on each of the two (2) counts, and – pursuant to a plea agreement between the Taney County Prosecutor’s Office and the defendant – ordered those sentences to be served consecutively to each other.

Evidence revealed that Lasmanis had sexual intercourse with two (2) different young girls in Taney County who were under the age of fourteen years. One of the victims was thirteen years old when Lasmanis had sex with her in 2006, and the other victim disclosed she was twelve years old when Lasmanis began having sex with her in 2013.

Statutory rape in the first degree is an unclassified felony, which carries a maximum penalty of up to life or thirty (30) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
