Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that BRICE A. MILLER has been charged with three (3) additional counts of possession of a controlled substance for events arising from the execution of a search warrant on July 5, 2006, at Whelchel Funeral Home located at 310 South Commercial Street, Branson, Taney County, Missouri. BRICE A. MILLER is currently being held in the Taney County Jail without bond. Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffery M. Merrell has requested a $50,000 bond in connection with this incident.
The range of punishment for each count of possession of controlled substance is one (1) day to one (1) year in the Taney County Jail, one (1) year to seven (7) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, and or a fine not to exceed $5,000.
Please be advised that the charges filed against the defendants are merely
accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven
guilty.
