Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that ZACHARY R. DECKER, dob: 9/30/1990 and MATTHEW FELTON, dob: 03/08/1991 both of Hollister, Missouri have each been charged with the class C felony of burglary in the second degree. On April 13, 2008, a residence on 360 River Point Road in Hollister, Missouri that was affected by the recent flooding was broken into and a television was removed.

The range of punishment for the class C felony of burglary in the second degree is one (1) day to one (1) year in the Taney County Jail, one (1) year to seven (7) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections, and or a fine not to exceed $5,000. Burglary in the second degree is committed when a person enters unlawfully in an inhabitable structure for the purpose of committing a crime therein.
