Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that BOBBY HAMILTON, dob: 12/19/1973 of Merriam Woods, Missouri was sentenced Thursday by Taney County Circuit Judge Mark Orr to ten (10) years for the class B felony of driving while intoxicated and four (4) years for each of two counts of the felony of driving while license revoked. All counts are to run concurrent and probation was denied.
On April 15, 2008, a Corporal with the Branson Police Department, stopped a truck on Business 65 at Missouri 76 for driving on a flat tire without headlights. The driver of the truck who was identified as BOBBY HAMILTON exhibited multiple clues of intoxication to a State Trooper and was arrested for driving while intoxicated. At the jail BOBBY HAMILTON refused to submit to an alcohol test.
