Taney County Prosecuting Attorney, Jeffrey M. Merrell announced today that THOMAS DARNELL, dob: 5/20/1982 of Merriam Woods was sentenced by Taney County Circuit Judge Mark Orr to six (6) years in the Missouri Department of Corrections on two counts of the class C felony of possession of a controlled substance , and one hundred and sixty (160) days for the class A misdemeanor of resisting arrest by fleeing. Probation was denied and the sentences are to run concurrently.
